The program includes the SCLE 2000 Supply Chain Resilience<\/strong> course, which consists of four days dedicated to risk assessment, dependency analysis, strategy development, and the management of disruptions along the supply chain.<\/p>\n The tools discussed include a comparison of time-to-recover and time-to-survive, the incorporation of supplier criticality into the business impact analysis, and the development of a specific supply chain continuity plan.<\/p>\n The program also addresses disruptions originating at later stages of the supply chain, thereby moving beyond a perspective limited solely to direct suppliers.<\/p>\n After passing the exam, participants can apply for one of the two new certifications.<\/p>\n The Associate Supply Chain Resilience Professional (ASCRP<\/strong>) certification is designed for those with less than two years of experience in the fields of supply chain, logistics, procurement, or business continuity.<\/p>\n This certification recognizes a basic understanding of the field and does not require the submission of professional papers or references. The candidate must pass the exam with the required minimum score and complete the online application. <\/p>\n The Certified Supply Chain Resilience Professional (CSCRP<\/strong>) certification, on the other hand, is intended for professionals with at least two years of significant practical experience.<\/p>\n In this case, in addition to passing the exam, the candidate must document their experience in the specified areas and provide the references requested by DRI International.<\/p>\n The creation of a distinct certification track is significant. Supply chain and third-party risk are no longer treated merely as ancillary topics within business continuity, but as a specialized field with its own expertise, methodologies, and professional development opportunities. <\/p>\n This positioning is reinforced by the partnership with the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University<\/strong>. From December 14 to 17, 2026, ASU and DRI will offer an online session of the Supply Chain Resilience program, which is fully funded and therefore free of charge for selected students. <\/p>\n The course brings together two perspectives that are often kept separate within organizations: on the one hand, supply chain design and management; on the other, business continuity and the ability to maintain operations during a disruption.<\/p>\n Finally, DRI2027<\/strong> is worth noting; it is scheduled for February 21\u201324, 2027, at the Loews Arlington Hotel in Arlington, Texas.<\/p>\n The call for presentations closed on July 17, 2026.
