Qualifying Exam (BC Professionals)
DRI Italy administers the Qualifying Exam, which consists of 100 multiple-choice questions covering the subject areas of the The Professional Practices for Business Continuity Management. It takes 2-1/2 hours to complete the Exam. All candidates must take and pass (with a score of 75 % or higher) the Qualifying Exam before they can apply to any level or designation for certification. The Qualifying Exam is “step one” of a two-step certification process. It is held on the last day of the BCLE 2000 and BCP 501 certification courses, and it is conducted in English. The fee for the Qualifying Exam is included in these two courses.
Candidates with extensive experience in Business Continuity Management can try to challenge the Qualifying Exam as an exam-only option. It is recommended though, to register for BCLE 2000 or BCP 501 prior to sitting for the examination.
